In reply to cwl. My limited experience with OLT is that it is very important to review the forms. Have not seen issues with the federal forms, but I know at least for MN state returns one has to take extra effort to manually fill-in and/or override some values.

By the way, OLT can import Broker Barter transactions from a spreadsheet. I think the review says it does not import anything.

OLT once missed my schedule D, so IRS went after me, the other year it couldn’t even calculate Qualified Dividend correct, and using Ordinary Dividend way to calculate and no people inside OLT knew that their system had the problem. They said if your input is correct their calculate is correct, it could be a problem of my 1099 DIV form, I have been using OLT for years with Qualified Div, and I knew I am talking with someone knew nothing about tax, and their CS has no intention to help out or even check their system, so I switched. If you want accurate tax, stay away from OLT, or else you might end up pay a lot more.

I love using Olt as it is user friendly. I process taxes for all my family member and i have a large family. When I go to pay the $9.95 to efile state with federal, after a few returns, it won’t accept my credit card or debit card. Why?
